My story part 1

    Funny I thought. I lifted my hand it was glowing a light purple. "AAAK!" I yelped. I got up from my bed and looked at myself in the reflecting mirror. My whole body glowed but it the glowing dimmed at a rapid pace. I was wondering curiously what had just happened and relayed the events all over again. My world was turning upside down. What was happening.
   My heart was beating at a rapid pace as I slowly made my way from my room to the kitchen. I looked around me, the walls were blue instead of white. The paintings were switched around and some of the paintings I have never seen before. The shiny, ash black piano was the same but it was on the other side of the room. When I got in the living room I looked left and saw the oddly colored green and purple laundry room and bathroom. I Looked to my right and found the kitchen remarkably the same. I ran to the only place familiar to me and got some snacks and orange juice out of the refrigerator. The orange juice felt so good finding its way down my throat and nourishing it along the way. I felt as if I had just taken a long journey and hadn't eaten in a while.
   There was one more thing I needed to check in order to feel very comfortable. I already knew that my parents weren't there cause I checked on my way down but I needed to know how the outside looked. Everything looked different to me and I just needed to be reassured that this ere I and that I wasn't crazy. Before opening the window to the backyard I made sure I wasn't dreaming by pinching myself as if my life depended on it. I wasn't asleep. I took a long, shaky, breath as I closed my eyes and opened the window.
   When I opened my eye I looked around. Everything seemed normal, then I looked at the floor and found a shadow of a black mouse, but no body. I wasn't Roman but I knew what it meant. I took an extremely deep breath as I realized that this wasn't the world I was born into, this wasn't the house I was raised in, and most importantly this wasn't where I should be standing....
